Date of dining experience: June 18, 2015
Place: 4 Hands Brewing Co.
Location: 1220 S. 8th St. in St. Louis, MO
Entree: Juicy Lucy ($10) - Chihuahua cheese-stuffed Missouri grass-fed beef patty, lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, mayo, and ketchup on a house beer bun. This was an extremely good burger. The beer bun alone is worth trying it, but the cheese-stuffed patty doesn't hurt either!
Beers: Three brews (one pint, two samples) - all equally delicious.
1. Single Speed Ale ($5 for 16 oz) - American blonde ale with Jasmine (ABV: 5%)
2. Vigilante ($3 for 5 oz) - amber ale with Kolsch yeast and lime zest (ABV: 5%)
3. Opus ($3 for 5 oz) - saison brewed with tea and zest (ABV: 5%)
Four Hands is amazing and definitely one of my very favorite breweries. All of their products are delicious and high quality. The bartenders are very friendly and personable. The atmosphere is wonderful and clean, with a giant glass wall that allows you to see all of their tanks in the back.
Give this place a try and let me know what you think. You won't be disappointed! Enjoy!
