Place: Dooley's Beef 'N' Brew House
Location: 601 N. Grand Blvd. in St. Louis, MO
This little pub was pretty good for a quick bite. It is located right around the corner from The Fox Theater and a couple blocks down from a gig I was playing at the Kranzberg Arts Center.
Appetizer: Irish Fries - Crispy fires covered in shredded corn beef, scallions, cheddar, and provel. This was very food when it was fresh, but once it cooled a little you could taste that the fries were a little overcooked. They became hard and greasy. $7
Meal: Hooligan Burger - A Dooley burger with bacon and creamed cheddar topped with an over-easy egg on a sesame bun. This burger was delicious! My only complaint is that the egg was overcooked. $9.95
Beers: Urban Chestnut Fantasyland and Sierra Nevada Summerfest. Both of these beers were fantastic and paired very well with the burger.
Try this place out for yourself and let me know what you think! Enjoy!
