Pi Pizzeria - St. Louis, MO

Date of dining experience: July 10, 2015

Place: Pi Pizzera

Location: 6144 Delmar Blvd. in St. Louis

Food: The table I was at split a few different pizzas. There were a couple regular pizzas and one called East Loop, which is mozz, roasted chicken, mushrooms, red onion, and basil pesto. All of the pizzas were good, but not great. This place is definitely not my favorite pizza.

Beer: Widmer Omission Lager (4.6 ABV and 20 IBUs) and Widmer Omission Pale Ale (5.8 ABV and 33 IBUs). Widmer Brothers beer from Portland, OR is pretty good. I really like their Hefeweizen. The two that I tried at this restaurant both happened to be gluten-free.

I would try this place again just to see if not really liking it the first time was an accident. I mean, they did get one of our pizzas wrong twice, but they gave us the pizza for free each time they messed it up. We left with quite a bit of extra food.

Try it for yourself and let me know what you think.
